At Funky Lemon we offer a wide range of services within design and model making.
When producing an architectural model there can be a huge variation in the amount and type of information which the client may supply. When it comes to modelling an existing area of a city it can become quite tricky to obtain the plans required from the local authority planning office, some of which may not exist anymore or is lacking required details. If all else fails we can use Google earth and other satellite photographic data to mass out and add detail to the digital shapes. In this case we were aiming for a fully sustainable model made from recycled card and had very little information on the houses in the surrounding area of the planned school buildings which were the central focus of this model. The reason for producing this model was to act as an aid in planning application and community consultation. Going forwards It can be quickly, easily and relatively cheaply be updated and changed over the course of the school project development if required.
