Laser Precision Marketing Models

We often like to utilise a laser cutter for precise model details. Laser cutting is not only perfect for accuracy, but can achieve a number of different finishes and cuts that’re very useful when creating architectural marketing models. In the past, we’ve used the laser cutter to etch brick wall textures into sheet acrylic, which later was heat formed into shape and painted to look like a brick wall. We’ve used pre-printed textures of building walls and cut them to their exact shape and orientation using the laser cutter too. The perk of cutting it that way was that the laser doesn’t drag or slip, like a hand knife could, as the laser is non-contact. This means the thin paper never tore or had any miss-cuts, giving us an immaculate finish.

One excellent use of the laser cutter is for creating flat building parts, such as walls. The laser can cut flat materials, like most plastics, woods and papers.
